This site is dedicated to expanding the knowledge of the game HoboWars. Please feel free to use it as a reference and guide.  You may have tried to find information on the various facets of the game, but in the end the other websites and the in-game message boards provide little information. The answers that you may have gotten to your questions may have been vague or based solely on one hobo's opinion. This site will try and explain what is going on and how to prosper.

Please look at the Beginner's Guide if you are looking for information on what to do from the very start. Then look at the other pages to get a better understanding of what is going on. The hints and tips on this site are a collection of things learned while playing the game and reading the message boards.

Since HoboWars (HBW1) is very similar to Hobowars2 (HBW2), most of the hints, tips and information here should be of use to you no matter which game you are playing. This is not the case for the newer updates, as they are done to HBW1 and not HBW2.

What is HoboWars?

HoboWars is a free online game in which you are a hobo. Life is pretty good for a hobo in this game. They constantly eat KFC meals, win huge sums of money at the casino, beg for money at the local 7/11, and have cart races down Suicide Hill among other things.

The game is not hard at all. No skill is required, only time. The in-game message boards are active and the administrators are talkative and quick to end any cheating that may occur. All in all it is very fair and enjoyable.It also can be played from anywhere that has an internet connection. Just try doing that with the other games you play.
